Microsoft Build 2023: From ChatGPT on Bing to Azure AI, check latest announcement

Microsoft hosted its much-awaited event, Microsoft Build 2023, in Seattle, the United States on Tuesday and made a slew of announcements. The event started with the keynote address of its CEO, Satya Nadella. Microsoft Build 2023 offers a first-hand opportunity to explore the entire range of Microsoft technologies. Besides, Build 2023 also showcases previews of upcoming features such as Windows 11, Bing, and the revolutionary AI copilot. Here are top announcements that were made at the Build 2023 event.

ChatGPT on Bing
Microsoft has announced ChatGPT on Bing which will be interated into Bing for search purpose. With this, ChatGPT would be able to source up to date responses from the internet. The responses of ChatGPT on Bing will include references. This will be available to ChatGPT Plus subscribers from today. “ChatGPT will now have a world-class search engine built-in to provide timelier and more up-to-date answers with access from the web,” Satya Nadella said, adding, “Now, ChatGPT answers can be grounded by search and web data and include citations so you can learn more — all directly from within chat.”

Copilot on Windows 11
Microsoft also introduced Windows Copilot, making Windows 11 the first PC platform to announce centralised AI assistance. This is to “help people easily take action and get things done”. Windows Copilot can be used to rewrite, summarize and explain any content. Copilot will be available in the preview for Windows 11 in June.

Courses for Developer Community
With the advancement of Artificial Intelligence, Microsoft has also announced several training courses for the developer community to help them understand AI better. With these courses, the developer community will be able to understand and gain knowledge about the latest AI innovations.

Azure AI
Microsoft’s Azure AI service is receiving significant upgrades to enhance the efficiency and user-friendliness of cloud computing. The Azure AI service includes Azure AI Studio, Provisioned Throughput Model, and plugins for integrating external data sources. Its Content Safety feature can detect harmful content in the images and the texts.
